Entrepreneurs and start-ups selected to participate in the St. Lucia leg of GET IN THE RING will test the viability of their innovative ideas or businesses on March 21st at Caribbean Cinemas. That is when they face judges, potential investors, financial agencies and business development organisations in the global pitching competition.

The St. Lucia leg will take place March 21st 2018 with the global contest in May this year. GET IN THE RING –a concept based on the sport of boxing, puts entrepreneurs in a ring as they seek to convince a panel of judges that their business idea is sound, innovative and scalable.

The contest in being promoted by the St Lucia Chamber of Commerce through The St Lucia Youth Business Trust and Junior Achievement with lead Partner the Department of Commerce. Collaborating sponsors include Invest Saint Lucia and the German Savings Bank for International Cooperation.

GET IN THE RING is a made-for-TV event produced by Bernard Fanis, ALL BIZ Ltd with Calabash TV as the broadcast partner. The “GET IN THE RING” competition will be held on March 21st 2018 at the Caribbean Cinemas, Choc Bay.

The competition specifically targets start-ups (0-8 years) that are scalable and innovative and is poised to be staged as a made for TV production, showcasing the talent and economic viability of the participants.

No cash prize will be given to participants, however, the winner of the competition will receive an all-expense paid trip to Cascais Portugal from May 30th - June 1st for the Global Meetup.
